Pete grew up on a farm outside Tuscon, Arizona and began his journey into pet care there caring for dogs, cats, and a variety of farmyard animals. Pete loves raising and caring for cats, dogs, horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, pigeons, quail, and many other animals. Animals have always been an important part of Pete’s life and he’s passionate about them. He’s bonded & insured by Pet Sitter Associates, an active member of PUPS (Professional United Pet Sitters), and considers it an honor to care for your pet while you’re away.

Pete’s Perfect Pet Services

Tailored to your pet’s needs

  •  40-50 min

    Choose 1-hour increments of care with detailed instructions on how to care for your pets

  • Additional 20-30 min

    Best for long walks, multiple pet homes, and pets with special diets or special needs. Good for horses & hobby farms, and potted plants watering.

  • 20-25 min

    Our most popular choice. Good for multiple pet homes, supervised feedings, walks, and play. Most dogs and cats, especially the very young or elderly, will be at their best 2-4 regular visits per day.

  • 10-15 min

    Value visits are short and can be used as a quick in-and-out visit to check on the home, give pets a potty break, litter box cleaning, light home upkeep like watering house plants, or even a short pet feeding.

  • 6 hours or less between 8 am to 4pm

    For select existing clients only

    Pets stay on Pete’s property, complete with walks, playtime, medications if necessary, and social time if they get along with Pete’s personal pets.

  • 10pm - 5am

    Leaving town or need to be away from home for a different reason? Pete can stay overnight to watch your pet, feed, water, administer medications, and check-in on your pet if they require companionship or oversight throughout the night.

  • 3 minutes or less

    Short drop-in to transfer keys (pick up or drop off), check appliances the like the stove, turn off sprinkler systems, set home security alarms, close windows, ect.

Initial Consultation with Pete's Perfect Pet Care
1 hour

Typically 30 minutes, sometimes up to 90 minutes

At this visit we can complete all necessary paperwork, answer questions both big and small about your pet and their needs, transfer keys, and tour your home. Together we’ll build a detailed profile for your pet and set of instructions for how to properly care for your pets while you are away.

This required meeting will be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to service.
